load up a couple atomizers with Absinthe, Chartreuse and a decent bourbon or rye (I have a nice bourbon, nocino I like). Spritz the inside of the glass, and then another spritz once the cocktail is complete. Adds a whole new level of depth to many drinks.

These are great hacks – I used to be so lazy about making simple syrup and now I make them all the time. Another hack I would say is a “go-to” for me is to find spirits that are versatile. A lot of people think having a well-stocked bar means buying everything. If you are just starting out, just stick to the things you love and go from there.
